Alpha

Flint is in public alpha

We're actively building and improving Flint. Here's what that means for you.

What "alpha" means

Flint is fully functional and used in production by real merchants today. Core functionality (accepting payments, managing orders, issuing refunds) is mostly stable. However, as we're still in alpha, you should expect breaking changes to APIs and workflows until we reach beta. We'll always communicate breaking changes in advance.

What may change

  • API request and response shapes (expect breaking changes before beta)
  • Dashboard UI and workflows as we refine the experience
  • Pricing and plan structure before our general availability launch
  • New features, some in early access before full rollout

What won't change

  • Your data. It's yours, always.
  • Core payment processing reliability

Staying up to date

We publish a changelog with every release. Follow along on the Releases page to see what's new. If you have feedback or run into anything unexpected, reach out. We want to hear from you.
