What comes with core payments?
Core payments include checkout, payment links, orders, catalog and inventory, discounts, fulfillment, returns, the buyer portal, refunds, reporting, and standard payouts. Sandbox testing and seats are unlimited.
When do I start paying?
The sandbox is free and requires no credit card. No monthly fee for core payments. Processing fees apply to successful live payments; add-on fees apply when you use those products.
Do subscriptions and invoices cost extra?
Yes. Invoices and subscriptions cost 0.40% of each payment Flint collects for an invoice or a subscription, including installments and renewals. A subscription invoice is charged the fee once, not twice. Invoice payments recorded outside Flint have no invoice fee and count toward the 20 orders paid outside Flint included each month.
What if I process more than $50,000 a month?
Ask us for a negotiated rate and agreement terms. Your volume never triggers an automatic change, and an agreement can raise the limit for orders paid outside Flint.
Are fees added to my customer's total?
No. Processing and payment-time add-on fees are deducted from your settlement. Your customer pays the total you charge at checkout. Standard bank payouts are included.
How do refunds and failed payments affect fees?
Refunds have no additional fee. The original processing, invoice or subscription, and automatic tax fees are retained after a refund or dispute. Flint credits errors and duplicate fees. Declined cards and uncaptured authorizations have no processing fee.
How does custom domain billing work?
A custom domain costs $15 a month per business and covers checkout and the buyer portal. A full month starts on activation and renews monthly with no proration. Activate it in Billing before connecting a hostname. Cancel anytime; the domain works until the paid month ends, and Flint-hosted links keep working. Hosted pages show the Powered by Flint credit on every domain.
